WATERBURY – It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Erwin Fulton, age 65 on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital.

Erwin was born on October 20, 1957, in Charlotte NC, the son of the late Heyward and Helen Fulton. Erwin proudly served his country in the U.S Army and the Army Reserves and was employed for many years as a plater and later served as a Corrections Officer for the State of CT. Erwin was exceptional in almost every way but he excelled the most at being a devoted father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, are his children: Laina Fulton, Marcus Johnson, of Louisana, LaNina Fulton, Sharena Fulton and his many grandchildren that will miss him dearly. He also leaves his companion, Kim Miller of Louisiana, his best friend Robert Hing former wives, Willie Ray Johnson of Louisiana and Virginia Fulton. Erwin is survived by his siblings; Marilyn Fulton, Heyward “Jr” Fulton, Robert “Tim” Fulton and his wife, Lynette, Dorothea Nelson, and Kenneth Fulton.

Funeral services for Mr Fulton will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, CT 06705. Relatives and friends may visit with Erwin’s family on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service commences at 11:00 a.m. Following the services, a repast will be held at So Blu Niq, 920 Wolcott St., Waterbury, CT. Erwin will be laid to final rest with full military honors on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the CT State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
