WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness that the family of Mrs. Elisa Rodriguez, age 78, shares the news of her peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Saint Mary's Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved widow of Ramon E.Rodriguez.

Elisa was born in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, on September 9, 1947, the daughter of the late Ezequiel and Monserrate Rodriguez. Elisa was a devoted mother, raising her four children with unwavering affection and dedication. Her presence was a source of joy at countless family gatherings, where her laughter and vibrant spirit lit up the room. A lover of good food and beauty products of all sorts, Elisa took pride in her appearance and delighted in the simple pleasures of life. Elisa cherished her time at the beach and relished traveling back to Puerto Rico to reconnect with her roots and family. Those who witnessed her devotion to her husband will remember the countless evenings spent together, watching the New York Yankees—a cherished ritual that brought them immense joy.

Elisa will be greatly missed, but her love, kindness, and spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of her children and all who knew her. As we honor her memory, let us carry forward the values of love and family that she embodied throughout her wonderful life.

Left to cherish her memory and honor her legacy are her children: Kenneth Lee Rodriguez of Maine, Lessette Rodriguez, Ramon S. Rodriguez, and Sally Ann Rodriguez, all of Waterbury; her siblings: Angela Rodriguez of Florida, Rosie Rodriguez of Florida, Moncho Rodriguez of New York, Mecco Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, Anacely Sepulveda, Luisa Colon, Julia Loor, andJulio Rodriguez, all of Waterbury. Ramon and Elisa were blessed with her 8 grandchildren: Krystal, Raymond III, Angel, Di-Jhae, Princess, Anthony, Marquis, and Alexis; and her five great-grandchildren: Emmaray, Laylaray, Justis, Ariel and Miles. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
