Norwalk , CT. Mr. Donald E. Bertrand, age 72, of Norwalk formerly of Waterbury died Wednesday, November 28th 2007 at Norwalk Hospital.
Mr. Bertrand was born on November 22, 1935 in Waterbury, CT son of the late Joseph W. and Alice (Farrell) Bertrand. He spent many years living at Southbury Training School before relocating to the Martin House in Norwalk, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and playing senior bingo.
Mr. Bertrand is survived 2 brothers Joseph Bertrand of Cummings, GA. Vernon Bertrand of Winsted, CT. 2 sisters, Millie Evon of Wolcott, Ct and Marguerite Hawk of Waterbury as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mr. Bertrand will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
