REMEMBERING AND HONORING THE LIFE OF DOLORES FITZPATRICK

WATERBURY - Mrs. Dolores (Tareila) Fitzpatrick, age 91 of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at St Mary's Hospital after a short illness.

Dolores was born on May 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Kayston and Dorothy (Horoshak) Tareila. She grew up in Waterbury and was a graduate of St Mary's Hospital Nursing School where she worked for more than 40 years as a Registered Nurse, a profession she was extremely proud of and gave all her efforts to. She enjoyed traveling with her friends, loved to read, and was an avid NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. She never passed up an invitation to dine out and she lived life to the fullest blessed by her faith, family, and friends. Dolores enjoyed a long and full life and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her nieces, Susan Ouellette, and Carol Bonenfant of Wolcott, as well as many great nieces and great nephews and cousins Natalie, Ann Marie, Carol, John, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her sister, Lydia Lestage, and nephews, Roger, Bruce, and Stephen Lestage. She will be missed by all those who loved and knew her.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fitzpatrick will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St. @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury, CT 06705 to Mary Mother of the Church Parish, St Leo the Great Church Bentwood Ave Waterbury to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Dolores' family on Thursday morning from 9:30 till 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and to honor Dolores memory, donations to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org would be greatly appreciated by her family.
