WATERBURY- Desmond Reyes, age 27, of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 4th 2021.
Desmond was born December 31, 1993 in Waterbury, CT, the son of Hector Rosado Reyes and Lillian Pabey. He was a graduate of Kennedy High School and enjoyed playing baseball on several leagues throughout the Waterbury and Wolcott areas. Desmond was a dedicated, involved and loving father, there was nothing more important to him than his children. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and his willingness to help others.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his father, Hector Rosado Reyes of Waterbury, his mother, Lillian Pabey of Plantsville, his stepmother, Chassity Rosado and step father, Peter Cardona. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Minerva Perez of Waterbury and Efrain Pabey Torres of Ponce, Puerto Rico his children, Desmond Reyes Jr. Thiago Reyes, and Armani Reyes. In addition, he leaves his siblings; Johnny Soler Jr, Mark Soler, Mary Soler, Peter Cardona, Peter Cardona Jr. Anthony Mastropietro, Julian Cardona, Leticia Booker, Tatyana Rosado, Taina Rosado all of Waterbury, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Relatives and friends may visit with Desmond's family on Monday evening, December 13, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St. Waterbury. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 14th 2021 at 11:00 a.m at All Saints Todos Los Santos, Shrine of St Anne's Church 515 S. Main St Waterbury. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in All Saint Cemetery Waterbury. We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
