Waterbury – It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that the family of Ms. Delia Williams announces her sudden passing on August 5, 2025, at the age of 60 in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Born on October 10, 1964, in Kingston, Jamaica, Delia was the beloved daughter of Catilda Byars and stepfather Albert Byars. Delia and most of her family came to the United States. Delia found joy in loving her family and friends, traveling, and being a faithful steward in her church community. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: Her sons, Damian Williams and Devon (Marquita) Williams of Waterbury; she leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 4 girls and 6 boys who will cherish her memory; Her siblings, Colleen Mann (Robert) of California, Paulette Francis of Waterbury, and Albert Byars III of Waterbury; And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
