OAKVILLE - Deborah Ann Stopper, age 60 of Oakville passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Vitas Unit of Saint Mary's Hospital. She was the devoted wife of Ralph Stopper.
Deborah was born on May 29, 1962, in Waterbury to Judith (DeSanto) Wrogg and the late Ronley Wrogg Sr. She graduated from Watertown High School and went on to become a CNA. She was s dedicated nursing assistant at Abbott Terrace Nursing Home in Waterbury for more than 30 years. Deborah enjoyed baking, cooking, and crafts and her beloved dogs. What was most important to Deborah however was her family whom she loved to spend as much time as possible with. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her memory and legacy besides her husband Ralph of 31 years and her loving Mom, are her brother, Christopher Wrogg, her Uncle Thomas Wrogg and her very special cousins; Paul and Adam Perrault who she helped raise. She also leaves sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her dad, Ronley Wrogg Sr, her brother, Ronley Wrogg Jr., and her sister-in-law, Gina M. Wrogg.
