Cherished her family

WATERBURY – Deborah Lee (Ricard) Dauch, age 70, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, with her devoted husband and family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Frederick Dauch.

Deborah was born on November 2, 1952, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Leopold and Laura A. (Nadeau) Ricard. She was educated in local schools and from 2008 until 2020 she worked for Children's Community School in Waterbury as a driver and Nina to all. What was most important to Deborah was her children and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, besides her husband, Fred, are her children; Fred Dauch and his wife, Chrissi of Wallingford, Karrie Dauch of Waterbury and Tisha Dauch and Aaron Whidbee of Waterbury. Deborah and Fred were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings; Ricky Ricard and his wife Pam of MO, Bernice Rasmussen of OH, Mark Ricard and his wife Pam, of CT, and Al Ricard and his wife Cindy, of CT. She leaves 8 grandchildren, Haleigh Vance and Joseph "Jojo" Martin, Cheyenne Whidbee, Dakota Whidbee, Nicholas Dauch, Grace Dauch, Jaiden Whidbee, Sophie Belisle, and Sariah Whidbee, as well as 5 great grandchildren. She also leaves scores of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was Nina to most of the neighborhood kids through the years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dauch will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Casey’s Eastside Memorial and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, has been honored to care for Deborah and her family during this most difficult time.
