Cornelius Talmont
Waterbury- Cornelius Talmont, age 89, of 2171 East Main Street, died December 2nd 2007 at Saint Mary's Hospital after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Marion (Bergenhas) Talmont.
Mr. Talmont was born March 8th 1918, in Chicago IL., son of the late Frank & Josephine (Jurvevice) Talmont. Mr. Talmont was a retired Swiss Screw Machine Operator and was employed at Waterbury Swiss Screw Company for many years. He was a Ham radio enthusiast and enjoyed studying Astronomy.
Besides his loving wife of 59 years, Mr. Talmont is survived by four sons, Neill Talmont and his wife Lynn of Cromwell, Ct; Dennis Talmont and his wife Kathy of New Britain, CT; Glenn Talmont of Biddeford, ME; and Douglas Talmont of Waterbury, CT; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Services for Mr. Talmont are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
