Ms. Christine Boroch

WATERBURY – It is with sadness that the friends of Christine P. Boroch, age 76, of Waterbury, share the news of her peaceful passing on Thursday, July 10, 2025, after a short illness.

Christine was born on December 17, 1948, in Waterbury and was a lifelong resident. She was the only child of the late Samuel and Gertrude Boroch. Christine was educated in local schools, graduating from Kennedy High School, Post College, and received her CPA designation. Christine worked for several local banks and institutions, where she was known as a dedicated employee and cultivated many lifelong friendships. Although a fiercely independent and private person, friends and family were very important to Christine. She actively sought out beautiful greeting cards and never missed an opportunity to acknowledge a birthday, holiday or special occasion. Christine traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe during her lifetime. She had a great appreciation of the arts and music going back to her childhood. Christine loved her friends, gardening, her parakeets, a good book, and a great meal out. For the last 6 months, Christine resided at the Marbridge Retirement Center in Cheshire, CT where she received exceptional care.

As per Christine’s wishes, there will be no services.
