WATERBURY- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Bruce L. Grant say farewell for now, to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle following his peaceful passing on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by the blessed love of his family after an extended illness. He was the treasured husband and best friend of Roxanne (Santucci) Grant.

Bruce was born on October 27, 1953 in Meriden, Connecticut, the son of the late John Grant and Elizabeth (Weidman) Grant. He graduated from Kennedy High School and was employed for many years as an Eyelet tool maker at Gem Mfg. He had a huge passion for music, particularly classic rock, which provided the soundtrack to many cherished moments spent with his loved ones. Bruce lived a life as bold and vibrant as his spirit. He leaves behind a legacy which will live on through the stories he told, the lessons he taught, and the loved that he shared. His life was a testament to the power of love, the importance of family, most especially his grandchildren. May he find eternal rest and peace beyond measure and may he never be forgotten.

Besides his devoted wife, Roxanne, Bruce leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Tanya Grant and her husband Raphael Torres of San Antonio TX, his son Scott and his wife Christina of Stamford CT, his cherished grandchildren; Mia, Jordan, Gracie, Christopher and Matthew and his devoted nephews; Michael and Brandon McCombs. He leaves a special place in his heart for his sister in law, Lisa Santucci along with many friends and extended family members.

Funeral services for Mr. Grant will be held on Thursday July 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St .Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St Waterbury CT Burial will be held at the convenience of his Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with Bruce’s family on Wednesday July 15, 2026 from 6:00 until 7:00 pm at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705.
