WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Barbara Jean (Baldino) Hernandez, age 66, of Waterbury, shares the news of her peaceful passing on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara was born on March 12, 1959, in Arlington, Virginia, the beloved daughter of Frances (White) Baldino and the late Daniel Baldino. Barbara’s journey through life was marked by her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support for those around her. In 1965, she moved to Waterbury, Connecticut, where she became a beloved member of the community. She touched many lives with her generous spirit, frequently offering her time and care to babysit and assist friends in need. Her gentle heart and commitment to helping others was evident in her work as a factory worker at various companies, including LesCare Kitchens, Braxton Manufacturing, and Sealy Mattress.
Barbara was an animal lover and found comfort in the company of her beloved pets. She also enjoyed spending quiet evenings watching television and creating lasting memories with her family. Her warmth and light will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. In honoring her memory, let us remember Barbara for her endless generosity and the love she shared with those around her. She will forever be in our hearts.
