Obituary

Arlene Marie (Baker) Wright, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, family matriarch, and cherished friend, peacefully transitioned from this life on December 24, 2025, at 5:39 p.m., surrounded by love and held in dignity, honor, and grace.

Arlene lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. Though her journey was not always easy, she met life with courage and unwavering perseverance. She was a woman of substance—firm when needed, gentle when it mattered most, and always guided by love.

Above all else, Arlene was a devoted mother and best friend. The bond she shared with her daughters was unbreakable, built on shared experiences, laughter, tears, and unconditional love. In her final moments, she was not alone—she transitioned in love, embraced and comforted, just as she lived.

Arlene leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, compassion, and enduring love that will continue to live on through her family and all those she touched.

She is survived by her firstborn daughter, Shante’ Denise Baker; her last born daughter, Stephanie Nicole (Dailey) Allen; and son-in-love, Aaron Lamar Allen.

She also leaves to cherish her memory her beloved grandchildren: Keith, Taraji, Aaron Jr., Ayden, Wyatt, Zoie, and A’kai.

Arlene is also survived by her loving siblings: Larry, Rose, Eddie, Carolyn, and Alonzo(Patricia), along with a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Larry Baker and Lillie Mae (Williams) Baker.

Though there will be no formal homegoing service, Arlene’s life will be lovingly celebrated through cherished memories and photographs that reflect the beauty of her spirit and the depth of her love.

Arlene Marie (Baker) Wright will be deeply missed, forever loved, and eternally honored.
