Mrs. Anita Baranowski

February 2, 1936 — October 11, 2022

Naugatuck – Anita Baranowski, age 86 of Naugatuck CT, formerly of Waterbury passed away peacefully at Complete Care of Glendale in Naugatuck, CT, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, following an extended illness.

Anita was born in Waterbury, the daughter of Frank and Rita Codianne. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. She worked at Risdon manufacturing as a Data Processor and then as an Executive Secretary for the State of Connecticut.

Following retirement, Anita enjoyed playing Bingo and Uno and was a member of the Eastgate Apartments Community Club. She also enjoyed knitting, shopping at garage sales, and reading. She had many friends and loved socializing and spending time with friends and family.

Left to cherish her memory is her son; Edward P. Baranowski and his wife, Cynthia of Prospect; her grandson; Edward S. Baranowski, and his girlfriend, Jennifer Buscarello of New York City, her loving sister; Joan Vallee of Brookhaven Mississippi, niece; Debbie and her husband Rod Jordan of Brookhaven Mississippi, and nephew; Todd Saunders of Tulsa, OK as well as many close friends. Anita was predeceased by her loving husband of 30 years, Edward W. Baranowski.

Funeral services for Mrs. Baranowski will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Waterbury is honored to assist the Baranowski family during this difficult time.
