Left us way too soon
WATERBURY – Andreas P. Lewis Jr., age 39, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly in New Britain, CT, from injuries suffered in a traffic accident on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
Andreas was born on January 14, 1984, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Andreas Lewis Sr., and Rhonda (Robinson) Wallace. He graduated from local schools and was a lifelong resident of Waterbury, CT. Andreas was the owner of several small businesses and he enjoyed boating, riding motorcycles, ATV’s, jet skis, and Slingshots. Andreas also loved watching basketball and football and his love for the Green Bay Packers was very well known by family and friends. Andreas was also known as “Dreas”, “Junior”, and “Junebug”. What Andreas loved the most was spending time with his children and family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. His family and friends are deeply saddened by a vibrant life that ended way too soon.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memories are his parents; Andreas Lewis Sr., Rhonda (Kenneth) Wallace, his five children; Julian Lewis, Anya Lewis, Alannah Lewis, Andreas S. Lewis, and Avani Lewis, his nine siblings; Yolonda Robinson (Adrain Eason), Shawn (LaShonda) Steward, Raven Antrum (Shevhon Digsby), Monique Lewis, Antowynne Lewis, Angelique Lewis, Andreass Lewis, and Andrea Lewis, and his girlfriend, Rosa Cardona, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Funeral services for Andreas Lewis Jr. will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St. Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery Waterbury.
