Andrea
Campbell
Aug 25, 1974 — Jul 1, 2026
WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Ms. Andrea Carlene Campbell, age 51, of Waterbury, shares the news of her passing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Andrea was born on August 25, 1974, in Kingston, Jamaica, the beloved daughter of the late Iris Squire. She spent her early years in Jamaica, graduating from Spanish Town High School before embarking on a new adventure to the United States in her twenties. Her journey took her through Kentucky, the Bronx in New York, and Bridgeport, before finding her permanent home in Waterbury. She was keenly aware of her capacity to care for others and was a devoted, dedicated caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant and Direct Support Professional, primarily with Midstate Ark, Incorporated and GT Independence. Her compassion and kindness were her strongest strengths and she was known for her unwavering dedication to those she served.
A vibrant spirit, Andrea had a passion for fashion and designer clothing, and she found joy in shopping whenever she had the chance. She also had a love for traveling, especially to Jamaica to visit with family. Her laughter was contagious, and she was the type of person who would give the shirt off her back to help others. She loved her family more than anything. May her legacy of love and compassion live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor and cherish her memory, are her daughter: Abby Sutton of Waterbury, her siblings: Fiona Williams and her husband Odane of Bridgeport and Melvin Campbell of Waterbury and many other extended family members and beloved friends.
Funeral services for Ms. Campbell will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT, 06705, has been honored to assist the Campbell family during this most difficult time.
