DEVOTED TO HER FAITH AND FAMILY
WATERBURY - Yvette Nancy Reyes, age 51 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital after an extended illness.
Nancy was born March 28th, 1968 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Geraldo and Ada Hilda (Casiano) Reyes, Sr. She was a graduate of Crosby High School and attended Cosmetology school and had spent several years working as a hairdresser until her illness limited her abilities. Nancy enjoyed music and spending time with her family. She was a woman of great faith and was devoted to her church and her family. Nancy will be remembered for her warm welcoming smile, her generosity and warm heart. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
The Reyes family would like to thank and acknowledge the doctors, nurses, and staff members at Waterbury Hospital ICU for the loving care and attention they provided to Yvette and her family during her illness.
Left to cherish her memories and honor Yvette's love and legacy are her son, Anthony Reyes and his girlfriend, Jelissa Serrano and their son Anthony Wyatt Reyes II, her siblings, Geraldo C. Reyes Jr. and his wife, Hilda, Ada J. Lugo and her husband, Angel, Ruthie Reyes, Myrta Reyes, Evelyn Anderson and her husband, Thomas, Nyleptha (Nelly) Santiago and her husband, Gil, Pamela Reyes, Myriam Avino and her husband, Victor as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many friends.
Funeral Services for Ms. Reyes will be held on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 11:00 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Yvette's family on Tuesday morning from 9:00 until the time of the service at 11:00 a,m.
