WATERBURY CT - Victoria Christine Menotti, age 81, of Waterbury, CT, passed away on April, 11, 2020.
Victoria was born on August 9, 1938 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Alexander Anthony and Mary Pauline Ricciuti Menotti. Victoria was a devout member of the Sacred Heart and St. Anne Roman Catholic Church communities for many years, including as a singer and organist. She was a teacher at Tyrrell Elementary School in Wolcott, CT for several years. While Vicki's family and extensive circle of friends enjoyed her gifts of song, organ-playing, and lovingly, hand-crafted quilted pieces, their lives have been enriched most by her good humor, supportive companionship, and love.
Victoria is survived by her brother, Francis Raphael Menotti and his wife, Ann Elizbeth, nephews Francis Joseph and Stephen James, and niece, Theresa Ann, and her extended family, whom she loved very much. Victoria is now reunited with her mother and father, her grandmother and grandfather, Vittoria Superczindski and Francesco Menotti, her Aunt Josephine Menotti, Aunt and Uncle Carolina and Joseph Muccino, her nephew, Baby Alexander Joseph, and many other close family members and friends. May her soul rest in peace.
Due to the current COVID-19 guidelines and associated governmental restrictions regarding the pandemic, in-person service participation will be highly restricted, and remote participation through online streaming is encouraged. A live stream of the cemetery interment services will be available on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/eastsidememorial on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 2:55 p.m.
Once the restrictions are lifted, a community Memorial Service will be announced.
