WATERTOWN - Twila (Seeley) Dews, 76, passed away May 21, 2020 at Saint Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Arthur Dews, her husband of 57 years, who passed away just three days earlier.
Twila was born on May 11, 1944 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Theodore Seeley and Twila (Ireland) Seeley in Waterbury CT. Twila was the lone surviving sister of 11 siblings, eight brothers and three sisters. She grew up in Waterville section of Waterbury but spent the last 50 years in Watertown with her late husband, Arthur. Twila was always happiest while spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her memory, legacy and love, is her daughter, Traci (Gary) Hill of Oakville and her son, Timothy Dews of Watertown.
Due to the current COVID-19 limitations, services for Mrs. Dews will be held privately and at convenience of her family.
