Devoted wife of 72 years
WATERBURY - Tillie (Krampitz) Mastrofrancesco age 93 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was the devoted wife of Dominic Mastrofrancesco.
Tillie was born on March 26, 1926 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of the late Michael and Wanda (Witzke) Krampitz. She was a lifelong Waterbury resident who spent her life being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her relationship with her husband Dominic was both unique and beautiful. They met as teenagers and were together for all of lives twists and turns for more than 75 years. Family came first for Tillie, whether cooking meals, giving advice or just being a best friend. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and word games and she and her family were parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Besides her husband of 72 years, Tillie leaves her children; sons, Angelo J. "A.J" and his wife, Gale of Wolcott, Michael M. and his wife, Sharon of Watertown and her daughter, Donna Ketchum and her husband, David of Wolcott and daughter in law, Brenda Mastrofrancesco. She also leaves 9 cherished grandchildren and 1 great grandson as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Debra and son, Robert.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mastrofrancesco will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705. to Our Lady of Lourdes 309 South Main St Waterbury to celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
