WATERBURY - Mrs. Susan Hoyt Mascola, age 62 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Monday August 15th, 2016. She was the widow of Louis Mascola and long time partner of Samuel Campbell of Oakville, CT .
Susan was born March 26th, 1954 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Francis and Susan (Booth) Hoyt. She was raised in Naugatuck and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and spent many years working as a Registered Nurse at Crescent Manor Health Care Center and most recently at Paradigm Health Care Center of Waterbury. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and cooking, but what brought the most joy to Susan was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Among her survivors are her children, Louis Mascola of Waterbury and his fiancé, Brooke of West Virginia, Vanessa Mascola of Waterbury, her companion Samuel Campbell, as well as her brothers, Larry and Richard Hoyt of Texas and her cherished grandchildren Jocelyn, Brooklyn, Olivia, and Jason.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Mascola will be held on Friday August 19th, 2016 at 7:00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St Waterbury. Friends and relatives may visit with Susan's family on Friday evening from 5:00pm until the time of the service at 7:00pm.
