WATERBURY - Shirley M. Errico, age 92, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 11th 2018 at Abbott Terrace Health Care Center after an extended illness. She was the widow of Carmen "Chick" Errico
Shirley was born December 13, 1925 the daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Steeves) Armstrong. Shirley began working at Scoville's Manufacturing and Century Brass in 1950 and became a foreman of the Sanitation Department and Tool Crib retiring in 1985 after 35 years of devoted service.
Shirley and her family would like to thank all those at Abbott Terrace Health Care Center for the great love, care, and support they provided to them and Shirley while she lived there.
Mrs. Errico is survived by her adopted nephew and best friend Christopher Start, her niece Cheryl Voronko and a number of great and great-great nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her sister Hilda Gallucci and her brothers Edmund, Earl, and Rodrick Errico.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Errico will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. She will be interred next to her beloved husband in the Garden of Angels in New Calvary Cemetery Waterbury.
