WATERBURY - Shane M. Michaud, age 48, of Waterbury CT, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury on Saturday April 25th, 2020. He was the widower of Janet (Steisel) Michaud
Shane was born June 19th 1971 in Beaufort, SC, the son of Norman Michaud of Waterbury and Sheila (Drake) Baker of Wolcott. Shane was raised in both the Waterbury and Watertown areas and attended of Watertown schools. He had spent several years working as a plumber for All American Plumbing and Heating. Shane enjoyed spending time at home with his family, watching some of his favorite television shows such as, Two and ½ Men, Seinfeld and of course, his favorite movie, Jaws. He also enjoyed playing pool and camping and he was a very talented cook. A dedicated, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend, Shane will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his love and memory, besides his parents are his step father, James Baker, his step mother Paula Michaud, his son, Shane P. Michaud of Waterbury, his daughters, Ashley and Jenny Steisel, both of Waterbury, his brothers, Scott Michaud of Woodstock, GA and Walter Budzyn, and his sister Jessica Hopkins of Missouri. He also leaves behind his four grandchildren, as well as several, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and friends as well as his best friend, his dog Boo.
Funeral services for Mr. Michaud will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. There are no callings hours. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home has been honored to assist Shane's family with arrangements.
