WATERBURY - Rosalind (Exarhou) Pisapio, age 76 of Waterbury, passed away at Saint Mary's Hospital on Monday, May 9, 2016 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence "Larry" Pisapio.
Rosalind was born March 7, 1940 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Jamele) Exarhou. She was a graduate of Wilby High School Class of 1958 where she met and married her high school sweetheart. She was a proud and dedicated homemaker who was always happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
Besides her husband of 57 years, Larry, Roz is survived by her son; Lawrence "Larry" Pisapio Jr and his wife, Gail of Holliston, MA, her daughter, Lori McDonald of Southington, her grandchildren; Lawrence "Larry" Pisapio III, Alexandra McDonald, Lindsay Pisapio, Nicholas Pisapio, her brother; Nicholas Exarhou, as well as several nieces and nephews; Debbie, Donna, Michael, Robert, Tracey and Jessica. She was predeceased by her siblings; Eleanor Rinaldi and Edward Exarhou.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Pisapio will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St. to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception 74 West Main St to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury.
