CHESHIRE CT - Jeanne M. Brennan, age 68, beloved wife of Mary Brody, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 14, 2022.
Jeanne was born on July 8, 1954 in Waterbury, the eldest daughter of the late John “Jack” and Mary Lou (Dwyer) Brennan. She was also predeceased by her sister, Maura Brennan. Jeanne lived life to the fullest, blessed by the love of her family and friends.
Besides her wife and partner of 42 years, Jeanne leaves her sisters; Cathleen Chaikowski and her husband, Dave of Wolcott, Marcia Jolly, Tara Brennan and Sheila Brennan all of Waterbury and Marita Brennan and her husband Reggie of Watertown. She also leaves her sisters-in-law; Helen Rock and her husband Peter of Sandisfield MA, Roseanne Borrelli and her husband Tom of North Haven and Bernadine Kane of North Branford, brothers-in-law; Michael Brody and his wife Tracy of Prospect, Joseph Brody and his husband Matt of Milford and Peter Brody of Fort Scott KA. She also leaves 13 nieces, 6 nephews, 8 grand nieces and 9 grand nephews as well as too many friends to count. She also leaves Nico, her beloved xoloitzcuintle, who was by her side to the very last day.
Funeral services for Jeanne will be held on Thursday July 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will be held at the convenience of her family. Relatives and friends many visit with Jeanne’s family on Thursday morning from 9:00 till the service at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. To honor Jeanne’s memory and in lieu of flowers donations to the Sisters of Mercy Retirement Fund c/o Kathy Remy, Institute Director, Sisters Support Services, Sisters of Mercy, 515 Montgomery Ave, Merion PA 19066 or to the Congregation of Notre Dame Sisters Retirement Fund c/o Sr Patricia Ells, Congregation of Notre Dame, Sacred Heart University 3135 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield CT 06825 would be greatly appreciated by her family.
