WATERBURY - Esperanza “Eppy” Santiago Agron passed away peacefully, in her sleep on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Abbott Terrace Nursing Home after a brief illness.
Eppy was born on May 25, 1944 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She is preceded in death by husband Carlos Agron Jr.,her parents Juan Gregorio Santiago Vargas and Candida Bonilla Santiago. Raul Santiago Bonilla, Rosa Maria Santiago Bonilla, Natividad Santiago Bonilla, Jose Enrique Santiago, Lucrecia Santiago, Gregorio Santiago, Juan Fidel Santiago, and Miguel Cruz Jr..
She is survived by her sister, Jovita Santiago Natal, her children, Cynthia Hope Santiago and Steve Carlos Agron. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Michelle Sally Agron, and three grandchildren; Esperanza was a deep lover of animals, therefore, she is also survived by her fur grandchildren, Davey, Joyphul, and Mika.
Funeral services for Mrs. Santiago-Agron will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Rosemont Memorial Park, Elizabeth NJ. Relatives and friends may visit with the Agron family on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 till 5:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
