THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF SANDRA BAUMEISTER
WATERTOWN - Sandra J. Baumeister age 58, of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Friday May 4th 2018 at the Vitas innovative Care Unit of Saint Marys Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a valiant battle with cancer. She was the widow of Joseph Baumeister Jr.
Sandra was born June 6th 1959 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Walter Nabozny and Joanne ( Carey ) Hasemann of Waterbury. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and received her nursing degree from Saint Mary's School of Nursing. Sandra has spent the last 30 years working as a RN at Saint Mary's Hospital primarily in the Emergency Room Department. Sandra was a candy crush fanatic and enjoyed spending time at the beach and taking trips to Disney. She especially cherished the memories she made on those trips with her family whom she loved and adored.
Besides her mother, Joanne, Sandra is survived by her three daughters; Kelly Baumeister of Wildwood, NJ; Karri and Kristen Baumeister both of Watertown, the Nabozny family who she adored and her grandchildren; Anthony, Aidan, Sofia, and Joey as well as other extended family and many friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Nabozny.
Funeral services for Mrs. Baumeister will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 182 Robbins St Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family. The O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville CT 06779 has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
